The Prophet$ are the Santos' rival gang in On My Block.
Description[]
The Prophet$ are the main rivals of the Santos during the First and Second season of On My Block. Much about their foundation is unknown.
Throughout the Series[]
- The Prophet$ are a predominately African-American Gang.
- Their colors are Green and Yellow. These colors are often worn by members of the gang, and occasionally displayed on cars.
- According to Monty, the Prophet$ changed after they changed the S in their name to a dollar sign and crack “came in”.
- One of the members often encountered by the show's main characters is Latrelle, who roughly the same age and went to school with the Core Four (Monse, Jamal, Ruby and Cesar). He also has a crush on Monse.
- They put a green-light out on Cesar during the first season, and this went on until the final episode of season 2, when the Prophet$ were arrested. In season 4, they reappear in episode five when they drove past Cesar’s house during night time and possibly the main ones that shot up his house almost nearly killing him.
